Rob Avis of Ravis Sustainable Consulting will be leading his Introduction to Permaculture class in transforming a Calgary lawn into a viable food forest. He already has enough help to do it, but anyone who would like to check out the progress is welcome to stop by.

“It is a pretty powerful message and great to see progression in this way. Turning landscapes that used to send the message, “I am wealthy enough to waste my land by growing grass” to “We should all be growing food on any spare space that we have to reduce the impacts of monoculture crops on wild-lands”.”

Saturday, July 18th from 9:00am-5:00pm at 2316 23rd St. NW Calgary AB.
